Researchers unveil inhibition mechanism of receptors on NK cells

Here, Prof. Dongming Guo from the Dalian University of Technology, introduced a novel manufacturing framework of high-performance manufacturing (HPM), which reveals the deep-coupling mechanism between design and manufacturing.
Prof. Guo commented: "The exploration of an approach suitable for HPM is crucial to improving the manufacturing capacity and standard of high-end equipment."
The majority of modern mid-IR fiber lasers operating beyond 2.7 µm cannot be considered actual fiber lasers but rather referred to as diode-pumped solid-state systems due to incorporated free-space optics. The team from the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology has introduced a novel design for a fuse-less side-polished hybrid fibre pump combiner with over 80% coupling efficiency. This innovation enhances laser efficiency and stability, paving the way for more robust and reliable mid-IR fiber lasers.
