The third High-Quality Development Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held successfully from April 10 to 12 at the Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhejiang province.
This week (14-20 April) the University of Warwick welcomes a cohort of early career researchers (ECRs) to its Sustainability Training School.
From a young age, people learn the importance of paying attention to the environment around them. Less emphasized is the value of paying attention to their inner environment. Neuroscientists are increasingly studying how looking inward via mindfulness training can affect everything from depression and memory to stress levels and aging. As researchers work to uncover the neural mechanisms underlying these brain changes, they are discovering best practices for people who want to incorporate mindfulness in their lives, as being presented at CNS 2024 in Toronto.
The British Association for Crystal Growth’s Annual Conference (BACG2024) will be held in the Edward Herbert Building at Loughborough University, UK, on 1st – 3rd July 2024.
The lecture series from 16 April to 2 July 2024 on the Middle East conflict and antisemitism is organized by Petra Quintini and Thomas Hinz, professor of empirical social research at the University of Konstanz, in cooperation with Tel Aviv University and the Förderkreis Konstanz - Tel Aviv, a foundation promoting exchange between the universities in Konstanz and Tel Aviv. On 24 April 2024, the Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism, Felix Klein, will talk about the topic of hatred of Jews as a driving force of extremism and violence. The entire lecture series is open to the public.
