Activation of Opto-vTrap reversibly inhibits contextual fear memory retrieval (IMAGE)
Caption
On day 1, the mouse was exposed to electrical stimulation to induce contextual fear conditioning. On days 2 and 3, the mouse was re-exposed to the same context as on day 1. If the mouse recalls the fear memory, it will remain frozen in the place. In contrast, if the mouse cannot recall the fear memory, they will move around normally in the presence of context. During Opto-vTrap activation experiment in trial 2 on day 2, it was observed that freezing behavior decreased, which is reversed when the light was turned off.
