Apple clearwing moth (Synanthedon myopaeformis), a pest in apple orchards (IMAGE)
Caption
The apple clearwing moth (Synanthedon myopaeformis) has a black color with an orange stripe across their abdomen and partly transparent wings. The larvae of this species create galleries under the bark, causing significant damage to the fruit tree. Butterflies fly during the day and visit flowering plants.
