Dock leaf bug (Arma custos) nymph preying on a caterpillar

The dock leaf bug (Arma custos) is a predatory true bug that can attack and suppress many important agricultural and forest pests, including lepidopteran larvae and small beetles. It employs salivary venom to immobilize and kill its prey, even if it is larger than the bug itself.
