Spotting a Kley Mutation in One Prostate Tumor (IMAGE)
Caption
Zooming in on genomic information obtained from single-cell sequencing of a patient's biopsy cores, the CSHL team focused on CNV (copy-number variations) in core areas 2, 3 and 6. This analysis, using the same information, reveals the deletion of both copies of a gene called CHD1 located on chromosome 5, likely an early event in the development of the patient's tumor.
