Left: Photograph of the new type of the divertor heat removal component fabricated by AMSB. The red hatched region with the size of 20 mm × 36 mm corresponds to the heat loading area of the electron beam. Middle: Cross-sectional three-dimensional CAD image with the position of the temperature measurement (point A and B). Right: Experimental results [1]. The temperatures of W armor (point A) and ODS-Cu heat sink (point B) are below 1200 degrees Celsius and 400 degrees Celsius , respectively, even in the 30 MW/m2. Those temperatures are quite acceptable for maintaining the structural reliability of this component.
