Mn-doped Ni2O3/Ni2P exhibits the highest electrocatalytic activity for HER among all other samples, requiring a low overpotential of 104 mV to achieve -10 mA cm−2. Additionallly, The Tafel slope of Mn-doped Ni2O3/Ni2P is 109.03 mV dec−1, which is less than the slopes of Mn-doped Ni2P (128.16 mV dec−1) and Mn-doped Ni2O3 (137.71 mV dec−1). Besides, the potential of Mn-doped Ni2O3/Ni2P remains constant at -50 mA cm−2 for 120 h in stability test.
