Georeferencing system used in observations of Venus from the ground.

Georeferencing system used in observations of Venus from the ground, the same system used by space probes orbiting Venus. On the right, this system is applied to an observation of the night side of Venus (the day side on the left is masked in black). This system allows to assign to each pixel of the image a latitude and longitude with high precision.
