Ultrasound image of a swamp wallaby fetus at day 29 of gestation. The image shows the head and forearm of the late stage fetus approximately 1 day before birth. At this time, swamp wallabies may have a new embryo in their other uterus, thereby supporting two pregnancies at the same time.
