HP/Intel Ruby Cluster (IMAGE) Ohio Supercomputer Center Caption Education and IT officials gathered April 9 to dedicate the Ruby Cluster, the newest system of the Ohio Supercomputer Center. The cluster employs 4,800 processor cores and is estimated to achieve 144 TeraFLOPS, tech-speak for 144 trillion calculations per second. The system is named for Ohio-born actress, author and social advocate Ruby Dee.
