Fredrik Höök, Professor at the Department of Physics at Chalmers, develops surface?based bioanalytical sensors with special emphasis on studies of cell-membrane mimics for applications in medical diagnostics and drug?discovery. He has co-founded the companies Q-Sense, Gothenburg Sensor Devices and In Singlulo Solutions. He has been awarded the Göran Gustafsson prize in Physics and is member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA).
