Smart gas sensing pills developed at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, can send data from inside the gut directly to a mobile phone. The first animal trials of the pills have examined the impact of low and high-fiber diets on intestinal gases and offer new clues for the development of treatments for gut disorders.
