Meiosin遺伝子を阻害すると、モデル動物は不妊症になる

熊本大学 発生医学研究所の研究グループのゲノム編集による実験により、MEIOSIN遺伝子が減数分裂の引き金となることが確認されました。モデルマウスでMEIOSIN遺伝子を阻害すると、減数分裂は開始されず、生殖細胞は産生されなくなり、不妊となることがわかりました。
