Every “leaf” of the onion represents the cell line and the graph illustrates the classes of single nucleotide substitutions caused by TMZ. The outer layer is a normal human cell and the second layer is the TMZ-sensitive tumor. Note how different are the TMZ mutational signatures in these two cell types.
