About the Meeting
Experimental Biology (EB) is the annual meeting of five scientific societies bringing together thousands of scientists and 25 guest societies in one interdisciplinary community. With a mission to share the newest research findings shaping clinical advances, EB offers an unparalleled opportunity to tap into the latest research in anatomy, biochemistry, molecular biology, investigative pathology, pharmacology and physiology.
In-person meeting
The Experimental Biology 2022 meeting will be held April 2–5 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. All scientific sessions will take place live and in person. For the health and safety of our members and community, EB 2022 is requiring COVID-19 vaccines for anyone attending the event. Learn more.
Virtual resources
Journalists who do not attend the meeting in person can access some resources virtually. These resources include electronic access to embargoed press materials, the opportunity to attend our virtual press conference at 11 a.m. Eastern on Friday, April 1, and access to virtual posters for a subset of the meeting’s scientific sessions. Press registration is required.
The end of an era
After more than 25 years, EB 2022 will be the final EB meeting. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy cutting-edge research from across the life sciences all in one place! Find more information at experimentalbiology.org.

Our Host Societies
About the American Association for Anatomy (AAA)
AAA is the professional home for an international community of biomedical researchers and educators focusing on anatomical form and function. Founded in 1888, the Society advances the three-dimensional understanding of structure as it relates to development and function, from molecule to organism. www.anatomy.org
About the American Physiological Society (APS)
Physiology is a broad area of scientific inquiry that focuses on how molecules, cells, tissues and organs function in health and disease. The American Physiological Society connects a global, multidisciplinary community of more than 10,000 biomedical scientists and educators as part of its mission to advance scientific discovery, understand life and improve health. The Society drives collaboration and spotlights scientific discoveries through its 16 scholarly journals and programming that support researchers and educators in their work. www.physiology.org
About the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB)
ASBMB is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization with more than 12,000 members worldwide who are dedicated to discovering and understanding the mechanisms of life. Founded in 1906 to advance the science of biochemistry and molecular biology, the Society publishes three peer-reviewed journals, advocates for funding of basic research and education, supports science education at all levels and promotes the diversity of individuals entering the scientific workforce. www.asbmb.org
About the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP)
ASIP is a society of biomedical scientists who investigate mechanisms of disease. Investigative pathology is an integrative discipline that links the presentation of disease in the whole organism to its fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms. ASIP advocates for the practice of investigative pathology and fosters the professional career development and education of its members. www.asip.org
About the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET)
ASPET is a 5,100-member scientific society whose members conduct basic and clinical pharmacological research within the academic, industrial and government sectors. Our members discover and develop new medicines and therapeutic agents that fight existing and emerging diseases, as well as increase our knowledge regarding how therapeutics affects humans. www.aspet.org
