The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS Publications) supports researchers through the publication and production of journals, eBooks, scientific programs and the newsmagazine Chemical & Engineering News. ACS Publications serves the global scientific community as the leading publisher of peer-reviewed research journals in the chemical and related sciences. Publishing more than 80 peer-reviewed journals in all areas of chemistry, ACS Publications is home to the most-cited journals in the field.

Annually, millions of researchers around the world publish in and learn from ACS Publications. In 2019 alone, a global community of scientists published more than 55,000 peer-reviewed articles in ACS journals. Researchers at more than 6,000 academic, government and corporate institutions downloaded over 156 million articles. In addition to its suite of fully open access journals, ACS Publications publishes open access articles in all of its journals via a hybrid model of publication and is committed to the advancement of research that propels science forward.
