TU Dresden has made significant progress in the new Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2023, gaining 16 places compared to the previous year. This now places TUD in 156th place worldwide and firmly among the top ten percent of universities listed in the ranking.
Particularly in the categories of research and teaching TU Dresden made substantial gains in THE Ranking. Its international profile was also sharpened in recent years. TU Dresden's appeal to students and researchers worldwide is reflected in the continuing improvement in this category. With regard to third-party funding and transfer (industry income), TU Dresden - as in previous years - also scores top marks in THE Ranking 2023.
