宿主与内共生体的热耐受

科研人员检验了5个蚜虫物种的热耐受能力是否随着这些物种的内共生体的热敏感度而变化,结果发现热暴露在37到38摄氏度暴露3到4小时减少了某些蚜虫物种的存活和繁殖,而增强了其他一些物种的生育力;受到热暴露负影响的蚜虫物种表现出了与蚜虫共同进化超过1亿年的布赫纳氏菌内共生细菌数量的相应下降,这提示内共生体热耐受的变化可能影响宿主热敏感性和地理范围。
