By Sept. 21 at 7:45 a.m. EDT Jose's center was 150 miles southeast of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts and tropical storm warnings were in effect in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Meanwhile, the animation shows Hurricane Maria's approach and make landfall near Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, around 6:15 a.m. EDT/AST on Sept. 20 as a Category 5 hurricane.
