image: Cassini took this dramatic time-color image from right above Saturn’s north pole in 2007, when the Sun was shining on the opposite (south) face of the rings causing the less-dense rings to look brighter than the more-dense rings. This image relates to an article that appeared in the March 19, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. J.N.
