image: Cassini took this dramatic time-color image from right above Saturn’s north pole in 2007, when the Sun was shining on the opposite (south) face of the rings causing the less-dense rings to look brighter than the more-dense rings. This image relates to an article that appeared in the March 19, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. J.N. Cuzzi of the NASA Ames Research Center in Moffet Field, Calif., and colleagues, was titled, "An Evolving View of Saturn's Dynamic Rings." view more
