video: Researchers from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania have been able to piece together important steps in how Parkinson’s disease (PD) spreads from cell to cell and leads to nerve cell death. This video relates to a paper that appeared in the Nov. 16, 2012, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Kelvin C. Luk at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and colleagues was titled, "Pathological αSynuclein Transmission Initiates Parkinson-like Neurodegeneration in Nontransgenic Mice.” view more
