Elsevier announces the SciVerse ScienceDirect eBooks collection 2011 frontlist

439 new titles span 24 diverse subject areas bringing SciVerse ScienceDirect total to 12,500 eBooks

St. Louis, MO, 15 November, 2010 – Elsevier, the leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, announced today its 2011 eBook collections available for advance purchase and to be released on SciVerse ScienceDirect, its online scientific knowledge platform. The 2011 offerings total 439 titles spread across 24 distinct subject areas, with individual titles scheduled to publish between January 1 and December 31, 2011.

These eBook collections are comprised of high-quality content published through Elsevier's prestigious imprints including Academic Press, Pergamon, North-Holland, W.B. Saunders, Mosby and Churchill Livingstone.

With the 2011 eBook collections, SciVerse ScienceDirect now offers over 12,500 titles and includes eBooks (monographs), major reference works, and book & handbook series. These 439 new titles span 21 unique subjects within the science and technology disciplines, as well as the health sciences disciplines of clinical medicine, health professions, and veterinary medicine.

  • An image searching feature that allows users to quickly find an image or graphic on a particular topic
