image: The Pioneer Fire is burning in southwestern Idaho in the Sawtooth National Forest, about 8 miles north of Idaho City. As of July 31 the fire has destroyed two structures and covered 27,417 acres. Inciweb, an interagency all-risk incident information management system that coordinates with federal, state and local agencies to manage wildfires reported it is 27 percent contained.
