How Stress Takes a Physical Toll, Explained in Neural Circuits (1 of 2)

image: Authors discovered a "mind-body" neural connection in the brain that drives a variety of responses to psychological stress. This connection constitutes a key part of the psychosomatic brain circuit by which stress and emotion affect the sympathetic and somatic motor systems.
