一项研究发现,把溴氰菊酯��这是一种常用于杀死疟疾病媒但是正面临按蚊种群的耐药性增加的杀虫剂��的晶体的温度加热到110到120摄氏度然后冷却,得到了让溴氰菊酯比原始结构杀蚊速度快12倍的一个不同的晶体结构,并且室内喷洒需要的产品更少,这可能抑制疟疾传播,即便是在具有高的杀虫剂耐药性的地区也是如此。
