Vaccines are now the most critical key to solve the global infectious disease health crisis." He further added, "I hope this training program would be an opportunity for our domestic researchers to improve themselves and actively react to the possible new breed of infectious diseases in the future."

Director Cheong Hee-Jin said, "Tthis vaccine expert training program will be the very important foundation for the future of Korean vaccine R&D. The Vaccine Innovation Center will continue our utmost efforts to foster the domestic vaccine R&D experts, while advancing beyond the basic vaccine researches to promote the development of commercially available vaccines."
