Houston, TX (February 20, 2025) – The Texas Heart Institute at Baylor College of Medicine (THI) proudly announces that Allison Post, PhD, Associate Director of Electrophysiology Research & Innovations and Manager of Innovation Partnerships, has been named a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for 2025. This prestigious honor highlights her groundbreaking contributions to biomedical engineering and her commitment to transforming cardiovascular care through innovation.
A visionary in the field, Dr. Post has pioneered advancements in medical device design and materials engineering, forging a path that bridges cardiology and engineering. Her expertise and entrepreneurial mindset have led to significant progress in the development of next-generation cardiovascular devices that enhance patient outcomes and revolutionize treatment approaches, such as those licensed to Rhythio Medical, XN Health, and Maxwell Biomedical.
Dr. Post leads THI’s cutting-edge research while cultivating strategic innovation partnerships, accelerating the translation of novel technologies from concept to clinical use. Her leadership within the Houston innovation ecosystem, including her role as CEO of Rhythio Medical, underscores her dedication to fostering collaboration and driving forward medical innovation.
