WHAT: The American Psychiatric Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting features nationally recognized experts in psychiatry and mental health policy, research, and clinical practice. The meeting’s theme is Lifestyle for Positive Mental and Physical Health, and will feature more than 450 educational sessions on 50 different topics and more than 1,000 poster sessions.
Media who attend the meeting will have first access to APA’s yearly Healthy Minds poll and an embargoed study from the American Journal of Psychiatry. They will also have access to in-person on-the-record talks with APA leadership, policymakers, and other experts in mental health; a new research briefing; and more.
Journalists covering Latino communities will have the opportunity to meet with Spanish-speaking APA experts during a special coffee and conversation on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. PT in the Press Room.

TO REGISTER: Credentialed media can register through online advanced registration for journalists. The Press Room in the Los Angeles Convention Center will be open Saturday through Tuesday, May 17 to 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., PT, and Wednesday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., PT.
Registration is also available on-site in the press room but to ensure expedited access, we encourage all journalists to register in advance. Badges must be picked up in the press room.
