INSEAD, The Business School for the World, has maintained its #3 position in The Case Centre Impact Index 2024. Now in its second year, the Index celebrates the global reach and impact of case writing contributions.
INSEAD ranks third globally among international business schools and holds the top position among European institutions. This achievement reflects the school's commitment to research excellence and the case method and a desire to continue to shape the landscape of business education and inspire students and professionals worldwide.
Lily Fang, Dean of Research and Innovation at INSEAD, said: "At INSEAD, we pride ourselves on the rigor and relevance of our research. It is an honour to see our efforts recognised. As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to developing impactful and innovative pedagogy to transform business education.”
INSEAD is among just a handful of schools that invest heavily in case writing. Every year, the school’s faculty and case writers produce award-winning and best-selling materials built on their vast expertise and unparalleled access to industry executives, entrepreneurs and experts.
Since 2023, The Case Centre has received 67 new cases for distribution from INSEAD authors. In total, the INSEAD collection available through The Case Centre includes over 2,400 cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. 204 of those are prize-winning cases.
The Index is compiled using The Case Centre's usage data from the previous academic year. To reflect the global reach and impact of an organisation's case writing, the index metrics include how many of their cases have been adopted, by how many organisations, in how many countries, and how many individual students have been taught with the cases. All organisations that have published at least one case with The Case Centre during the previous academic year are eligible.
INSEAD has been the global leader in case study excellence. In the Case Centre Awards and Competitions 2024, INSEAD made history as it became the first business school in the world to surpass 100 awards since the annual competition began in 1991.
