Emanuel Petricoin, III, Co-Director, Center for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine (CAPMM), received funding for a breast cancer study.
Petricoin is collaborating with Timothy Cannon, Medical Oncologist at Inova Schar Cancer Institute.
Together, they are comparing 68 cases of RNA-amplified but DNA-normal cases to cases where both are amplified or where neither are amplified.
Petricoin received $35,700 from Inova Healthcare for this award. Funding began in Sept. 2024 and will end in March 2025.
