In honor of the inspiring contributions made by women in the realm of science, the journal Ultrafast Science has proudly established the Women in Ultrafast Science Global Award. This award endeavors to celebrate and elevate the accomplishments of exceptional female researchers by acknowledging and fostering their groundbreaking and original contributions to the field of Ultrafast science.

Initiated on March 8th, the award has garnered an impressive response, with accomplished women applications spanning over 10 nations. As of June 30th, the pool of applicants has entered a rigorous and highly competitive selection phase.

Following a meticulous preliminary screening process, 12 distinguished female scientists has emerged, poised to embark on the final round of competition. Each of these exceptional candidates will showcase their scientific advancements, presenting compelling cases for why they deserve to be recognized with the Women in Ultrafast Science Global Award.

The highly anticipated final selection round for the prestigious Women in Ultrafast Science Global Award will commence on 25 July, kicking off at 19:00 Beijing time (equivalent to 11:00 UTC, 13:00 Berlin Time, 20:00 Tokyo Time, and 7:00 Washington Time).
