Disparity (%) in populations designated as “disadvantaged” using the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool (CEJST) between leveed vs. Non-leveed areas for different FEMA-accredited levees within the National Levee Database: (a) all levees, (b) FEMA-accredited levees, and (c) non-FEMA-accredited levees. The disparities in the figure are capped at 100% and indicate the percentage of disadvantaged populations that are overrepresented in leveed areas compared to non-leveed areas within the same geographic level.
