Lumelite-4 was designed and built using NUS’ patented modular and scalable satellite’s bus system with fault tolerant features, and carries an experimental satellite-based communication hardware developed by A*STAR’s I2R. The respective teams were led by Professor Low Kay Soon (second from right), Director of STAR, and Dr Francois Chin (second from left), Division Head, Satellite, Aviation & Maritime, A*STAR’s I2R. Their team members include Yuan Fangxing (far right), Research Associate, STAR, and Qing Xianming (far left), Principal Scientist I, Leader of RF Group, Signal Processing, RF, and Optical Department, A*STAR’s I2R.
