In addition to his ARRS Honorary Membership, Professor Lee has received honorary fellowship in the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. He remains a formal member of both the Korean Academy of Science and Technology and National Academy of Medicine of Korea. Professor Lee’s main scientific interests include MR imaging and diagnosis of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, multiparametric MRI for oncologic diseases, MR elastography, and image-guided tumor ablation. He has also authored influential papers regarding biliary cancer diagnoses, dual-energy CT and functional MRI for oncologic diseases, as well as radiofrequency tumor ablation for liver cancers.
