Pairs of nucleosomes at euchromatin, which were labeled by two different colored dyes and recorded simultaneously. Upper, a neighboring nucleosome pair with correlated movements. Lower, a distant nucleosome pair with uncorrelated movements. Correlated movements of two neighboring nucleosomes suggest that chromatin forms condensed domains in euchromatin.
