M1治療可恢復因創傷性視神經受損的視覺功能。（A）說明「瞳孔光感反射測試」的示意圖。（B）經M1治療小鼠與沒有接受治療小鼠，於「瞳孔光感反射測試」下的對比圖像。（C）經M1治療小鼠的瞳孔在光刺激下收縮至正常水平，而無受治療小鼠的瞳孔則未能完全收縮。（D）經M1治療小鼠在「隱現視覺刺激測試」中，能於受視覺刺激後移動至有蓋遮掩物下，但無經治療的小鼠則沒有反應。
