Hubble Space Telescope view of the location of the gamma-ray bursts GRB 211211A and its surroundings. The zoom-in shows the afterglow of the burst, as observed with the Gemini North telescope on Hawaii. The binary system causing the burst was likely ejected in the past from the big, bluish galaxy on its left.
