Electron microscopy images of cardiomyocytes in a wild type mouse (WT) and a transgenic mouse overexpressing beta-3 adrenergic receptor in cardiomyocytes (c-h3tg) after 3 months of aortic stenosis (transaortic constriction, TAC). Mitochondria are larger in the c-h3tg cardiomyocytes and have a better conserved structure.
