Principle of operation of the developed high-repetition laser system. When a temperature difference occurs in the medium, light does not travel in a straight path, causing damage to the medium (upper figure). In this laser device, the operation of giving excitation light and extracting laser pulses (bottom figure) is repeated several times before a temperature difference occurs in the medium.
