The illustration of the III-nitride/MoSx core-shell nanowire-based device architecture and its corresponding spectrally distinctive photodetection behavior under 254nm and 365 nm light illumination. In bare nanowires, only one directional photocurrent was observed. After forming the core-shell nanowires, at 254 nm light illumination, the device shows a negative photoresponse while at 365 nm light illumination the deivce possesses a positive photoresponse.
