脱水勾配 (海洋プレートの沈み込み方向の単位長さ当たりの脱水量) 分布はスラブ上面 (0km) の深さがモデル下面の深さ200 kmより浅く、かつ相図のデータが存在している200 ℃以上の領域のみをプロットしている。白枠内は図１で示した深部低周波微動の発生域を示す。四角の細い黒枠内はモデル領域を示す。 (a) スラブ上面 (0km)。 (b) スラブ上面から深さ6km。 (c) スラブ上面から深さ10km。
