Dmitriy Dolzhnikov, a graduate student in chemistry at the University of Chicago, holds a liquid that, when heated, will turn into semiconductor solder. Dolzhnikov is lead author of an article describing the solder's development that appeared in the Jan. 23, 2015, issue of Science.
