U of A researchers successfully use 3-D 'bioprinting' to create nose cartilage

3-D printed cartilage is shaped into a curve suitable for use in surgery to rebuild a nose. The technology could eventually replace the traditional method of taking cartilage from the patient's rib, a procedure that comes with complications.
