Lu Han is Petro-Canada Associate Professor of Business Economics at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and Academic Director of the Centre for Real Estate and Urban Economics. Her research centers on understanding house price risk and real estate market microstructure. Her recent work examines the tradeoff between risks and returns in housing market, the competition and efficiency issues in the brokerage industry, and the underlying search and matching mechanism in home allocation process. She received a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Urban Economics.
