3D modeling of developing sperm unveils sites of heat-induced DNA damage. Chromosomes are depicted in grey. Sites of DNA damage are seen in yellow/red foci. Numerous sites of DNA damage are present on each heat-shocked spermatocyte nucleus. Image taken with a DeltaVision Ultra High Resolution widefield microscope. 3D modeling was done with Imaris Microscopy Image Analysis software by Bitplane.
