Eudorah Vital, the 2018 UMBC valedictorian, hugs President Freeman Hrabowski at spring commencement. At UMBC, Vital was a Meyerhoff Scholar and Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholar. A biochemistry and molecular biology major at UMBC, Vital is currently pursuing an M.D.-Ph.D. at Emory University.
