The parasite that causes metabolic disorders in dragonflies, as it appears under an electron microscope at 100-micron scale. Known as "gregarines," the parasite belongs to Apicomplexa, a group of microorganisms including protozoa that cause diseases like malaria and cryptosporidiosis.
