Photo: UVM Students and Professor in Lab (IMAGE) University of Vermont Caption University of Vermont graduate Lily Sargeant (center) was part of team of four undergraduate students, including Ben Chomitz (top), that painstakingly studied and photographed spiders in the lab of professor Ingi Agnarsson, a spider expert. They discovered 15 new species and named them after "people who stood up for both human rights and warned about climate change," Agnarsson says--including Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle & Barack Obama, and Senator Bernie Sanders. Their results were published in the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.
