Cell Death in Lungs After Pharmacological and Genetic Interventions (IMAGE)
Caption
This image shows that when mouse lungs are exposed to high concentrations of supplemental oxygen, there is increased cell death, as noted by increased bright green staining of the protein caspase 3. When autophagy is increased by drug (Torin2) or genetic methods, cell death decreases.
